Trust members oversee the work of the Trustees and have the ultimate responsibility for the trust achieving it's objectives. 

The trustees set the strategic direction of the trust, hold senior school leadership to account and oversee the trusts financial performance.

The Beam Trust team work closely with the Trust Board and Headteachers.

Each school has a Local Governing Board that provides focused governance for the school, monitoring key performance indicators, acting as a critical friend and providing challenge when appropriate. The local governing boards also assist the trustees in fulfilling their duties.
